What is the best router for the money?

My internet's been whacking out and the problem is our Microsoft router that is about 5-7 years old. We are replacing it.

Currently in our network, we have one desktop and two laptops. They aren't placed more than about 20-25 feet away from each other at maximum but are separated by rooms.

My internet connection has gone a maximum of downloading 2 megabytes per second (or is it megabits...), but anyway, it's pretty fast, as it took about 20-25 minutes to download the Condemned demo.

What is the best router for the money to cover my situation?
