Thank you BFG and the Computer gods

Hi all
I had recently purchased a bfg 7950 gt oc 565/1430 w/512 infinium 1.4 ms ram. after fooling around in the bios I increased the volts from 1.25 to 1.35 for both 2dand 3d.I was able to get 650/1600 stable 43c Idle 60c under load have a zalman cooler and ram sinks.
But that wasnt enough so I flashed a bios from a 7900 gto from xfx.
well that totally screwed the card up I had made a post about this.( help flashed wrong bios) All replys said well your screwed. I rma'ed the card back to Bfg on the 24th And well Ill be darned Bfg just shipped my new card out today. No questions asked.Gotta say they are Great or where the computer gods looking out for me 8O

I hope I learned my lesson

Lucky S.O.B. :twisted: If I had some balls I would flash my 7800GT to the GTX BIOS mod I found and do the volt mod...but I have no balls and no "no questions asked" warranty to fall back on

I guess in this situation, maybe I have balls, I just have no money to back them up...

what bios menu is increasing the voltage in? i am currently in the process of ocing my 7950gt oc.

get a copy of nibitor. that will let you ajust the volts if you have that option
