screen: just an old mass produced black DELL 15 inch lcd (will probably buy a bigger, nicer one later)

The PSU is probably a Shoddy ATX1 500W (probably only outputs 400w) i don't think it would handle your setup

Get a PSU thats atleast ATX2.0,500W output

I would recommend a SilverStone 560W(500W output) EF56F PSU its only $80US on Newegg!

It's not good enough.

20A on the +12V line (no 12V1 / 12V2).

You'll need more than that.

A good Solid PSU is the SilverStone EF50F 560@ ATX2.2 PSU, i will be getting one of them myself.

Read some reviews on it if you need convincing, did i mention it has a silent 120mm fan for cooling !

ok, thanks guys. i guess i did overlook the psu. i guess i just saw "500w" and assumed it was good enough. i need to learn more before i spend any of my hard earned green!
