More Information

Ok, i bought a G132 to use with my Netgear 834GT..

the adaptor is on my Media Center PC, roughly 5m from the Netgear router (but across a hallway, so not good for a cable :P)

now, previously, with my Minitar 54mbit PCI Card, i had no issues...i got the Dlink to free up a PCI slot and to get it at 108Mbit..

I have a Netgear SC101 NAS which i store DIVX, etc on...so i use it to stream to my MCE PC...

I noticed that after 30min or more of streaming, the adaptor would stop working...ie, look in Device Manager, and it has a yellow mark against it saying it is not working properly...DUH!

so, after unplugging it and then plugging it back in, it worked fine...until it happened again...

so, i contacted Dlink and got an RMA for it...they replaced it and sent me a new one...

that was less then one week ago, and this is doing virtually the same thing! although, the device doesn't show the yellow mark in device manager, the wireless will just completly drop out and it will not scan it again...meanwhile, at-least one other computer in the same room (but further away from the router) can stream all day and not have an issue. (with a MSI network card)

Now, i doubt it is my actual computer, as i have a DVICO Dual Tuner (1xPCI/1xUSB) and the USB Tuner runs fine while all this is going on, as does my Microsoft MCE Remote/Keyboard, which again, are on USB...

im going to borrow another USB adaptor from work (think an ASUS) and try that and just see wat happens, if it works, im going to demand a refund from DLINK as the product just outright doesn't work, whether its a Driver, hardware or Firmware issue...it just does work!

does anyone else have any ideas as to what i can do to get it working???

or does anyone else have the G132 running fine???
