Generic bluetooth adapter driver for windows 7

Hello,
my generic bluetooth adapter shows as error code 43 what shall i do to fix it

Hello,

The hardware error code 43 means Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. It means a device driver notified the operating system that the device failed.

First unplug the hardware device, the bluetooth adapter, and plug it back in to see if it redetects the device properly.

If not, go to devices & printers, and in the lower section, click on the misbehaving device. Click on the troubleshooter to see if the built in troubleshooter can fix it, or give you "next steps".

It may well be the hardware device has failed, and will need to be replaced.
