It's slower than a Frozen Fart In February around here!!!!
Slower than a Mancunian Chimp...
Yea..... [/watches tumbleweeds roll on by]
Here where I stay, the earth is so flat, I can watch my dog run away for three days.
As to slow, it's not that slow here...
I was talkin about the forum.... [/watches snow flakes drift to the ground]
I'll put money on the place getting interesting just shortly after I find a new job. It's always the way, as soon as I'm busy I find things to do.
Slow is not the word I'm afraid. I wrote my car off the past weekend. Thats some useless info there for you..
My car's exhaust broke between the first and second silencers. [/bo-RING!]
My car's engine is in the firewall... Six airbags... KAA-BOOOOOM. Woman got burn marks on her arm seeing that the little fockers (airbag) deploy at 211mph and she had her arm in the way.
I just had to get my rear pinion yoke replaced...
*yawn*
*laughs as Frozen Fart explodes*
Coors stopped production of beer 4 years ago. No one cared and they're still selling the surplus. /Boring and uneventful news.
4 years ago?? All of the plants closed in the mid-80's...
It's as slow as NinjaShrub here..
Too lazy to look it up... [/yawn]
I went out and did another 35 miles on the bike. Even the up hill bits were faster moving than this forum has been.
When are you going to upgrade from the tricycle?
To something like this?
Edited for grammar.

I ran out of bottles to relieve myself in 4 years ago... Didn't know Coors had plants to make that stuff?
LV your pictures crack me up at times
I upgraded from using Risers trike a while back. If you want a quick look at what and where I am riding I've just chucked a couple of shots I took with my mobile up on flickr.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/audiovoodoo/
The shot with the hills in the background is about 10 miles away from my front door. I was up there on Saturday just gone. I dropped down of the hill past the reservior and then down a wickedly steep service road that I managed to get 40mph on. By the time I got home I'd done a 37 mile ride. If you are wondering why the sign is in the shot I was trying to get the name so I could work out where the hell I had been when I got home.
The shot against the gate is in a local country park which is about a mile or so from here. The one of the canal was taken between a place called Stalybridge and Roaches Lock following the canal out into the Peak District national park. The structure used to run over the canal carying rock mined localy. That day was a more tame 27 mile ride a couple of weeks back.
Todays 35 miles took me up to a place called Lyme Park which the UK audience might recognise as the place used to film the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice. Stunning views and air that actually contains something other than car fumes.
For the technical folks the bike is an 08 Specialized Sirus Elite running on 28mm slick tyres and road sized 700c wheels.
EDIT - Update to flickr link
Truly you are a traveled chimp.
Indeed... Glad you enjoyed the pic... Thats how slow it is here today.. It allowed my to play with GIMP.
Nice bike and from what i can see that seems like a beautiful ride...I am jealous...
That be one nice bike...
*dons ski mask and gloves*
*dons scuba mask and ice skates*
Homosexual transport.
The bike is nice enough but not half as nice as the bike I used to ride. I used to own a rather tricked out Stumpjumper with all the toys of the time. It was the result of lots of working and a rather nice insurance payout when my Kona got stollen the day before I started Uni. I managed to kill the Stumpy whilst I was ill a few years back and on my budget I had to take a few steps back to get cycling forwards again. The current bike is less than half the price of my old one.
I'm currently looking towards getting myself a nice light fixed gear road bike and a half decent MTB. As good as it is that bike is not quite right for either road or trail work. That being said I'm at 1100 miles since mid September so it must be doing something right.
@Mugz - I live in fear of it getting taxed from me when I'm out in the rougher parts of town. A friend of the landlord was stopped by a group of scallies on a local cycle path and robbed of bike, phone and money. Pretty bad for 3pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon on a well used trail. She was rather shaken by the whole thing and is still without a replacement bike
Stumpjumper? What, you fcuk midgets now?
I'm still seriously considering a Noble M15.
Nice. But it does rather scream mid life crisis.
Mid life crisis my arse. I've been drinking too much, chasing teen age girls and ogling sports cars since I was fourteen.
The M14 looks nicer to my eye although I have seen footage of an M15 on the track and yes it does shift. I've always had a thing for 911's myslef but if I ever find myself in the position to buy one I'd have to think twice.
BTW - I belive that would be teenage without the space or are you going to play the that's what I meant card in stead?
***holds hand up and admits to a fcuk up***
Honesty from the forum criminal.
I always admit it when it's a fcuk up, who do you think I am, Riser?
Only when you have the Salmon shirt on.
Tom is good at admitting when he's wrong.
Except when he's stealing or shagging Mrs. Ding.
Speaking of which, I have an appointment.
***burgles Mrs. Ding's arse***

Fixed.
Good afternoon Chipmenis.
I see Radio 4 is not doing it for you any more.
Hope this helps.
Tom.
Good afternoon SmartArse.
It is still 20 minutes untill World at One so I had some time to kill. Following that I have the excitement of the shipping forcast to brighten my day. You may have to wait a little longer before your favourite show 'Womans Hour' graces the airwaves.
Regards,
Chimp.

Chipmenis? Is that like a chip menace, one who menaces chips? "Oh, the horror! Look at all these broken and bloody chips! The chipmenis must have been here!"

I don't know the show, but I'd wager it's Woman's Hour.
