Hi,

Was wondering if someone had any idea's about good gigabyte motherboards for a core 2 duo.

Would like ddr2/800 and prefer Nividia to ATI so would like SLI capable board if possible.

Might OC a little but will probably just stay with standed cooling.

Thanks for your help.

Gigabyte

The DQ6 is on of the best 965 board, if you need raid, otherwise the DS3 is one fine board!

No sli support, ?partial? X-Fire.

That would be my recommendation, I dont think SLI is needed!
Both are good OCer!

I'll have a look at those thanks for that, I'm not really sold on SLI either just figured I'd get one, That can support it probably wont end up using it anyway.

Sli capable, your only choice is 680i boards.
GA-N680SLI-DQ6 is not out yet probably ~january like the abit and others.

I would go with the actual DQ6 right now, I don't think SLI is worth it.
Only side not is that we don't know how the physic part is going to end up so you might want another slot/SLI for that at some point, something to keep in mind
