I just got a pocket pc (Ipaq h4155) and was trying to get it set up to sync
with my MS Money info. The problem I am having is my home computer is
running Money 2003 and when I load Money 2004 or 2005 on my pocket PC it
says I don't have money on my home PC. My pocket PC is running pocket PC
2003 Prem. Money 2003 will not load on a MS pocket PC 2003 device.

1) Is there any way to get money for PPC 2004 or 2005 to recognize the
money 2003 on my computer?

2) If not can I upgrade (cheaply or preferably for free) my MS money on my
home computer to something compatible with whats on my PPC? I looked on
Microsoft's web site but only found trial versions?

3) If 1 is not possible and 2 is to cost prohibitive is there any other
free decent programs out there for the PPC that can sync with MS Money 2003?

Thanks

I vaguely recall that there were posts about installing an incorrect
version of one of MS programs on ppc's, check the newsgroup archives.
Something about running from files in the temp folder I think, but
please forgive me if I'm wrong- it wasn't relevant to me and I don't
properly remember- it may have been Pocket Streets, but it's always
worth looking through relevant newsgroup archives anyway.

Don't forget to search/ask in the money newsgroup too.

Yeah the money versions must be matched on both the pc and ppc. Someone had
a work around for this but I never tried it so google may be your friend on
this one.
