The Zalman 9500 is nice but a cheaper alternative is the AC 7 Pro. Saves you a little over US$30.

I agree, for medium overclocking ac pro 7 is great. But for extreme maybe zalman or watercooling would be prefered.

like i said if you would have read i did see that guide but i didnt clearly understand it....ne ways iv been looking at others and i kept reading wusys over and over and i think i have a better understanding about it but i still have a few questions....

is it better to overclock a little bit at a time or use a settings that i already know will work...and after i overclock it and get it stable is it ok for me to leave it overclocked all the time or should i revert back to the stock clock

Huh?

Probably depends on the parts. Not every cpu will OC equally. Just OCd mine yesterday. Went straight to 400 FSB w/o a hiccup. No reboots, no lockups, etc.

I think it is generally prefered to OC in small increments like 5mhz then reboot and repeat the process until you start getting problems booting.

Yes, Scythe Infinity is among the best for OCing. Scythe Infinity and Tuniq Tower 120 are pretty much the best air coolers around.
