For those that have a webcam, but don't have a webcam program
yet, this setup might be of interest. I've previously posted up
the demo page (bottom), but now I've added the page below that
tells a little about the setup. The WebCam2000.exe is made to
just serve up static captures, but using javapull in a page can
make it a little more like a streaming setup. I've also found a
little command line program called DHTTP.exe that is made to down
load pix from the net. I've put this in a batch file so the pix
get renamed with a time/date stamp. Another batch file runs the
getpix.bat file capturing at the desired interval and the desired
number of pix. This type of capture could be triggered by some
motion detection event or a timer to capture what was going on.
Probably possible to do some time laps grabs (3600 sec = 1 hour)
Not fancy, but might be of interest if you like to tinker with
simple setups.
