Hey guys,

Buying a new graphics card for Christmas and I notice the card has a different connection than my monitor.

I did a little research and found out the connection on the card was a dvi.

Whereas my monitor has a VGA adapter..

Any idea how to fix this?

The card will normaly have one or maybe even two DVI to VGA adapters in the box that it comes in along with a power cable and any bundled software.

Okay you got a DVI connector on you graphics card and have an HDDB15 or HD15 connector on your monitor. DVI is now the industrial standard replacing that old HD15. That DVI graphics should come with an HD15-to-DVI adapter. If not then get this.

or you can easily find this at your local computer store.
