thanks in advance... and sorry if that´s old topic.

I need to set up a network around four houses (not wooden structures, concrete) and I need reliable signal both inside and out. Internet to these houses will be provided from yet another building, some 150meters away from the nearest house.

Rather than relying on the signal from this fifth point to cover the outside of the houses, I´m thinking about a dual antenna setup for each house - one external omni in the 08~15db range both to cover the outside and link to the internet source and a small omni to cover the inside.

The houses will be concrete jobs, scattered over a rather large area but under a 50 deg angle from the fifth, taller building. Since this will be a service building, I can use whatever power I need from this side - but I´d rather keep the power as low as possible on the houses.

Ideas? Has anyone made this? I understand many of those two-antenna APs choose the one with best signal - but is the other one disabled? Can you sugest some model wich can be "coerced" to use both antennas always?

So far, the houses are imagined to end using DLink´s DWL2100AP in the repeater role, mounted in the attic with external omni antenna ANT24-0800
- gear I have used with good results here and there - but I´m not sure the interior will be 100% covered.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!
