A E6300 will be extremely difficult for 4Ghz, but for $40 more youll actually get a shot.

Done on a Tuniq Tower 120.

Some other mammoth cooler.

Stay away from Thermalcrap or any other 'all-in-one' water cooler. With the right optimizations, a lot of tweaking and some ballz you can reach 4Ghz.[/b]

The 4th scary movie was the best of the bunch thus far... God I don't think I've ever laughed that much at a movie.

4GHz on air? Not gonna happen without the silicone goddess escaping...

Russel Peters came to UT once... fairl funny, but I'm not a big fan of stand up comedy...

Da Ali G show though... you got to see that...

And to the op... why bother OC'ing to 4 GHZ? Any real reason, or are you just trying for bragging rights, because if you're asking these kind of questions I'm not certain you should really try...

If you really want to go for it, one of the best kits out there is the Swiftech H20-220 Apex+...

WOW I looked up moldetoaster on google video and that is the gayest guy I have ever seen. This guy has way to much time on his hands. He make a thirty minute video where he sais these weird things that aren't even words. Wow that was gay.

A while back I read an article on anandtech.com, they had the e6300 up to 3.68ghz at 525. They said they couldn't run it much above that without increasing the voltage alot.

I've read alot of other articles a few months ago when i was building mine and would suggest a maximum of 3.6 ghz, with good air cooling (and case ventilation), like the tuniq tower 120 recommended. Don't forget the arctic silver 5.

If you want the tuniq to be quiter with slightly more airflow you can also upgrade the 120 fan. There is an article on hexus.com recently that tested coolers and fans.
