My motherboard does not support FIrewire, not biggie I can add a card. But I also have a firewire connection on the front of my case. Is there a way to make that operational? Connect it to a pci card somehow??

Get an 1394(fire wire) adapter card from TG/newegg or whoever, they range from $13.00 and up? look for one that has an internal connection so you can hook up your front panel. But the choice is up to you on what you choose, but remember you get what you pay for?"most of the time." Maybe someone else will recomend a certain brand for ya? -good luck-
