Do I really need this computer?

I want a nice laptop that will run Adobe CS4 Master Collection. The Toshiba I have now won't render out my movies after I edit in Premiere.

So I bought the Asus G51VX for $999.99 today and now I'm not sure this is the right one.

#1 - It weighs a lot - 7.5lbs
#2 - It's batter life is only about 2 hours
#3- There's another asus for about $600 that might do the trick (K50IN-RBCBR05 Asus) for a lot less.

What do you think? (PS, I know I should get a mac but budget won't allow it) If you have other suggestions, let me know.

If you know the lowest graphic card that will accommodate rendering in Premiere, I'd be interested in that too

i would not care too much about weight. if u want longer battery life go into the laptop's BIOS and lower the clocks speeds on cpu and/or gpu (which would mean slower processing). #3 i think ur quite wealthy to jump on to 2 laptops and now thinking for a different 3rd one, if u rly think u "Need" a mac - then get one rich person
