I plan to overclock it and I don't want to go through the trouble/cost of water cooling. Sound level is of no concern to me. Can I get a recommendation in the 20-30 range, 30-40, and 40+ and also the best cooling for the price. Any comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The motherboards PCB is so hard no cooler could break, but without mattering which cooler youre using be careful no to bump it around while transporting your system.
Tuniq Tower 120, it outperforms the Scythe Infinity and the Thermalright Ultra-128 which are more expensive. Not to mention is the best air cooler.
If you wanna stay with a 'light' down-blower cooler, get the BT VX sold at eWIZ.com, its got a better for another buck or two.

thermalright si-128 here , coretemp: idle 42 load 56 (2xprime95) and silent as well :) The blow-down style gives you chipset/vrm cooling for free.

PS: we are all loyal to the brand we got, so take a random pick from the big 3 and be confident that it'll cool well, be silent, and still be viable for quad core down the road.

Does thr tuniq tower 120 out perform the thermalright ultra 120? I cant find any reviews testing the two against each other.
