i resently purchaced 2x 8800gtx(xfx) to replace my 7900's
i have a 610w silverstone psu currently, its more than enough for what i had in the case, however now im concerned that the 8800's will draw to much power.

here is what the new setup will have:

asus a8n32sli
amd fx 60 (no oc)
4x 1gb patriot sd ram(2235)
1x WD raptior 150 10000rpm sata drive
1x WD caviar 320gb 7200rpm sata drive
1x dvd burner(slim line)
aerocool coolwatch front panel
2x 8800gtx
2x extra usb
2x swiftech m655 pumps(liquid cooling)

ive used the PSu calculator and it told me 980w, meaning id have to swap the silverstone for a 1000w psu. i dont want to do this since the case is already wired, ect. and the psu i have has modular cables, something of a necessity in my case.

id also like to futureproof the psu, leaving wattage for extra hard drives, more usb, or possibly a replacement mobo and cpu once the amd 65nm quad cores come out.

also, as an alternitave to a new psu, is it feasible to use a second smaller psu for the gfx cards? say a aux 300w dedicated to just the 4 sli rails?
