I purchased a EeePC 900 on 6/16/09 .
Since day one noticed the battery drains 10%in 20 hours at off situation
contacted ASUS and they issued RMA , send the whole unit to them . after 10 days receved and stated some component was replaced .
the issue with drainage remains .
Called again with new RMA and sent back . in two days I received back without explanation what they did , however the drainage issue remained.
I was very angry , although I did not needed this low cost note book , as a matter of principal send back with NEW RMA# .
after 10 days I received e-mail the problem resolved by replacing some component in motherboard which coused the drainage , I was happy and in 10 days I received the unit but:
ASUS did not sent me my Battery and Power adaopter !!! .
It is now 16 days I am in contact with customer dept. and have new CASE NUMBER talked with several Manager , they tell me the case is forwarded to technical department, and finaly last weel told me the case is in hand of retail dept. to send the missing battery and power adopter .
As of today I don;t have any message if the send or not .
This was a journy for me and I blame myself to purchased a cheap notebook
