Release dates for r600/g90

Does anyone know when the r600 or g90 is suppose to be released??,I just bought some new hardware today but didnt get a video card because i heard these were coming out sometime in the next few months.

January for R600. G90 is a while, the G80 refresh is what to look for, should be around June altough I might be wrong

R600 sometime in January.

nVidia's 8900s, should come out early '07 also to compete with R600s.


Also, G90 will be out in like 18 months, and it will kill all current cards severely. It will also be a newer, better architecture than G80.

I am eagerly awaiting the G80 vs. R600, should be a good battle, I hope.

Just to prove a point.

What were the first dx9 cards. Exactly no one has one.

Its going to be the same way with Dx10. Its always good to get the second generation. Especially when there are no games to play which are Dx10.

do u think the r600 will be released late jan/early feb? because i think it has to be released with windows vista because of direct x 10

also, i havent spent alot of time comparing specs on these which one do u think is going to be better ati or nvidia? i'm hoping for ati since thats what i've always used but if the nvidia turns out to be that much better than i'll get it but i cant be spending more than 5 or 600 bucks on this so let me know about how much they might cost.
