Im looking for a new laptop, for about the 10th time.. Ive been getting HP, and they always break, so ive been looking at sony vaio or toshiba or something. I do care about the looks, my wife will use it sometimes.. I just want to do work and play some WoW..

Work and WoW...
Sounds like any damned laptop can do that...

How about a Dell Vostro 1720?
Its dedicated graphics are more than enough for WoW, and it's a 17" that can upgrade to a 1920x1200 res screen (possibly helping with whatever you work on, as lower resolutions typical on most laptops can be a hinderance).

Forget overpriced Sony and unreliable Toshiba. Go with Dell.
