I have a 7950GT 256MB. In some games, charactes/object are missing polygons (they are see through). Also, when there is a large field of view, flat polygons that kind of look like ramps appear randomly throughout the maps.

What could be the problem? I'm using Win2k Pro with all the latest drivers. The CPU (pentiumD 805) is overclocked, but everything is cool. The CPU is <50*C, the GPU<50*C, and case temp <30*C.

The games I play that have problems are TrackMania Sunrise Extreme, UT 2004, and Battlefiled 2 and 2142.

Quake 3 and 4 have no problems at all.

I have the exact same problem.

I'm using Win2k service pack 4. Exact same problem as you described with Trackmania Sunrise, HalfLife 2 (and other source games), and I've got the occasional bit of flickering Graphics in Second Life

I've tried the latest 93 drives, and others ones as well to no such luck. My card is the Asus EN7950GT with 512Mb DDR3 ram.

Getting really sick of Nvidia cards breaking in different ways, as i just had my 6800 die for no reason, never had problems with my Radeon card at work. :x

Then buy a radeon card! Duh! I overclocked my radeon 100mhz twice, broke, and then it worked perfectly without any artifacts!
Personally I would check for new drivers and ask yourself if the card has sufficent cooling and is dust free. Please don't overclock nvidia cards.
