I was transferring a file via an SD card in the slot in my laptop, and while transferring -- the computer froze. I had to manually turn off the computer and after that, I have been unable to login regularly. At the login screen, my mouse/cursor freezes for a few seconds, then when I do enter my password, it gets stuck at the Welcome screen. However, everything works fine in Safe Mode. It might be worth noting though that in Safe mode the SD card is not recognized
