Upgrading soon whats a good choice?

I am upgrading my system in the next few months and was wondering if i should just go with a cheap 939 right now, or just buy an e6300 cpu mobo combo? I want the one that will last me the longest for the best price. Is the 4mb of cache in the e6600 worth it (or going to be worth it)? Because if it is ill just get a 939 now and get the higher end e6600 before college....

thoughts on the situation?

Get a C2D. Buying a S939 is madness unless you're almost broke.

btw, i own all the s939 chips in the world. so you have to buy from me and my premiums are really high. how does $700 sounds for a S939 4800+?

Or should i buy a 939 now and wait for the e6600 to come down in price? Any predictions is that will happen or not? Cause i could go cheap now and before college go expensive and get a core 2...... suggestions?
