Lines on my LCD Monitor. Please Help!

I have the following setup:

6800gt on a 19" samsung 930bf monitor.

Sometimes, which is quite often now when I swith my pc on a blue or purple line or both appear vertically on the screen. I checked the cabling and the monitor is plugged in fine. If I switch the pc off and restart the lines go away, but then reappear sometimes when I swith the pc on.

Its not just in windows. but the lines appear as soon as the pc starts up.

What do I do! Is my graphics card broken .......

That's usually a sign that the LCD monitor is dying especially since you are not OC'ing your video card. But double check your video card anyway.
