I've been looking for a 1366 motherboard for my Core i7 build ... Along the way I have been reading the reviews on newegg and Amazon .... I guess ignorance really is bliss because all of these defective 1366 motherboards I have been reading about have me kinda nervous. I'm not completely inexperienced but I have not built a computer in 5 years... The last thing I want to deal with is a defective part.

Aside from newegg and Amazon where do you guys recommend going online for a motherboard? Some retailers offer to test motherboards for a small fee (15-20 bucks) and guarantee it's not DOA... is this service a scam or is it worth it? :o
