I don't work for them, but I've used the Homewatcher program for many years
now. Even in that time, I've tried probably dozens of other webcam
applications - but I still stuck with Homewatcher through it all. The free
version is probably enough for most users, and if you decide to buy the full
version - it is a very reasonable price. It has great flexibility when it
comes to the motion detection settings, and it can upload "batches" of
images at a specified interval - instead of starting an FTP session every
time an image is grabbed. Check out my site for an example page of what you
can do with Homewatcher. It has one big main image, a bunch of "history"
images, as well as a time-lapse video created from the last 360 webcam snaps
taken. All of this is done automagically by the program... the only thing
I did was edit the html of the template to blend with the design of my site.
