Does this feature exist yet? It would be nice if you could set a date after
which a task becomes high-priority. Maybe just add an option to the
"reminder", such that after the reminder activates, to change Priority to
___ .

For example, if you set buying a birthday present for your wife.. you might
set it as "Low" priority when the task becomes 'active' 2 weeks before her
birthday. But the day before her birthday, you have a reminder sound off...
and it would be appropriate to increase the task to "high" priority also!

Edward,

That feature is not built into Tasks. There are other 3rd party
applications that will do this however. Franklin Covey is one but you may
want to check Pocket Informant or Agenda Fusion. They may ofter it but I'm
not 100% sure.

Regards,

What a great idea Edward.

I have Agenda Fusion, which does create an appointment
for birthdays and anniversaries, from data you enter into
a contact, but I haven't seen if you can have the
priority escalate as the date/time get closer.
