Everyone's favorite cooler, the Tuniq Tower 120, is finally in stock somewhere: svc.com. I'm surprised they don't increase the price due to the shortage--it's still only $55.

(yes, I ordered one before posting this. . .)

I dont know about svc but from my experience, if they have Paypal you're pretty safe. And it's a yahoo store, another good indicator and 8.8/10 rating which is more than good enough!

On a side not, last batch of Tuniq(when I bought mine) started with smaller eTailer and everyone got some after a while. A few eTailers have Dend cember 12th date, so I suggest people who don't trust them to wait and see I beleive we should see them popping around soon!

I got mine from Xoxide, and it was excellent...

I wonder if Tuniq is just faking their production issues so that when they release their coolers there is a feeding frenzy and people are like "holy crap I need to buy 2!"? ;)

Well, that was just a joke. But, in reality, I imagine their customer base grew too rapidly for their company to keep up with.

I searched for Sunbeam and Tuniq and couldn't find 'em on stock quote websites. I wonder if they are so small they're not even publicly traded?

Well some very large company are not publicly traded...

I don't think you can make a ton of money on the stock market because a 50$ aftermarket heatsink is selling well, but thats just me :?

Anyone hear anything about SVC.com

Never heard of them so I'm fairly reluctant...

I have bought from them before. Not online but at thier actual retail location. They are pretty good from what I can tell. I did a will call pickup and they had the stuff ready for me when I arrived to get it 2 hours later (when I got off work). I definately recommend tham for cases, fans, and cooling equiment. I have not bought any of the other stuff they carry.

You can find out all that information just by typing Tuniq.com and drawing the obvious conclusions...

I wonder if Tuniq is just faking their production issues so that when they release their coolers there is a feeding frenzy and people are like "holy crap I need to buy 2!"?
I fell for it then  and glad I did!

I have had a great experience with a similar product to the Tuniq tower: the Sonic Tower from Thermaltake. I've have the tower cooling a PD 820 which I regularly overclock to 3.4 GHz with no fan. The CPU temp doesn't go above 57 C. I believe this cooler is much more widely available, and I paid CAN$57 for it.

I aim to have the quietest possible computer. My case has some nice 1200 RPM, 120 mm fans and the loudest part right now is my PSU. I'm thinking of replacing the PSU with a fanless version, so long as I can find some positive reviews of a model.

Really nice temps for a PD820. But the real advantage of the Tuniq are the huge fins, this provides the thermal dissipation that makes the Tuniq the air cooling king 8)
