What Ipod Speakers should I get?

Howdy,
I can't speak for the Altec Speakers, but i have the MM50 and they are decent speakers, depends on what you want to use them for though. For playing the music really loud then id go something a bit more powerful than the mm50's. but for personal use than the mm50 are great little speakers, also comes with an inbuilt battery which i find reallly handy (don't no if the altec comes with a battery, doesn't look like it though). i don't get 10 hours outa the battery though, that could be the ipod im using in it though.
if you want to know anything else about the mm50 id be more than happy to answer the Q's.
