Is there a better way to earn money without becoming intrusive about your advertising?

When I roll my mouse over my ZIP Code on my personal information, a ad pops up. When I click next page in a review, a ad pops up. In fact 3/4 of my profile information subject lines are double underlined to pop up an ad. I thought Tom's was given their hardware to test. I'm not against advertising (I'm a Graphic Designer), but when is it out of control? Am I really the only ****** here?

I've been hearing more from users being pestered to an unusual extent by the Kontera ads - the double-underline ones that you mention. I forwarded the complaints to our marketing guy and he's going to see what's up.

I don't see those adverts here, using Firefox with AdBlocker enabled.
