Anybody make their own res?

I couldnt find a tripple bay sized res so I decided to make my own....

My res is about the size of a shoe box, it holds about 4.6 Litres of water. I am looking for some barbs and a screw on cap so I can finish my project.

Where do you guys get your barbs? and were do you get the little screw on caps to fill up the res?

You're putting that inside your case ? If so you're only going to heat the water up with inside case temp.
The only water I put in my case is going in , then going out. Rad and Res are outside of case here.
Idle is now 19C

I have just ordered my barbs thanks for your help...

Dun worrie

The case I have is a MM U2 UFO (Half meter cube)

I run 10 panaflo fans (There is no hot air in the case)

I think the more water the better provides more stable temps,

Think like this: If you want quick cup of coffee, you add just a cup of water to your kettle, if you had 4.5 L of water to the same kettle it now takes forever to boil your water...

Your PC just remains cooler for longer.
