hi,

My System Build are:

Asus P5B P965
Intel Pentium D 940 3.2GHz (2x2MB)
Corsair Value Select PC2-5300(333MHz) 1x1GB
Hitachi 160GB SATA2 7200RPM (HDHIT-160G-0A31347)
XFX 6800 XTREME-X 256MB+DVI+TV Out (PV-T42E-UDE3)
Samsung SH-S182D 18 Super DVD Writer w/DVD-RAM
Antec TruePower 2.0 550W

Problem1:
I used the PC Probe2 from asus and it detects my PSU fan running at around 800+/- and my mainboard temp is always at 45C. Is it normal? And my CPU running at 55C to 62C :(

Problem2:
I left the computer on doing Lavasoft Ad-Ware scan and Norton AntiVirus Corp scanning while i am away, then is likes it was in suspend/hibernate mode and i tried to mouse the or by switching the system power on but the screen was black and no video signal. And worst sometime when not doing anything it also got this problem.

Then i need to manually turning the system power off then on it again but i hit another problem which is that i cannot connect to the internet and when i did a ipconfig it shows me media disconnected. And to correct this problem i need to shut down the system and switch off the main switch and wait for awhile then power everything on and its works fine.

It is some problem with my mainboard?

Please give me some guidance
Thanks in advance

PSU Fan at 800rpm is normal for most PSU's now
Mainboard temp is normally 10-20C above ambient depending on your situation

Your 940 is a DualCore Heater and maybe overheating

If your system is unstable, find out if it is a memory or cpu problem first by running cpu/ram stressers like BIT or SP2004 or memtest

As for the network, no idea, never heard of this problem before
