Susan & I saw the DVD of "There Will Be Blood". Daniel Day Lewis plays a bad-ass character like in "Gangs of New York" ... he's evil and ruthless. Kind of left a sick feeling with us both, despite his excellent character acting. He was one mean SOB.

I have yet to see Gangs, worth watching Little Titanic PrettyBoy for 2½ hours?

Yes, absolutely ... it's a Martin Scorsese film and won a bunch of awards. DiCaprio was excellent and DD Lewis was cold man.

pains me to say it, but DiCaprio has become a fine actor. Last two films I saw him in were Blood Diamond and The Departed, the latter in which he blew Matt Damon off the screen. I previously thought he best work was when he drowned in Titanic.

Eastern Promises is an awesome film, Viggo works very well with Cronenberg.

Last film I caught at the cinema was Cloverfield, which I was very impressed with. The camera work and the pace of the film were spot on,. There's once scene where you know what's coming (the subway tracks scene), but it's still a fcuking good hair raising moment.

Same sentiment towards DiCaprio - I like him as much as fish spread (fcuk all) but he play's in good movies. You're hard pressed to pick one of his movies up and be dissapointed.

If I lose any more hair, Duncan Goodhew will be buying my remaining shampoo.

Still, I can console myself with wonderful memories of days gone by when I had hair and gave it to a few dirty bints via the tradesman's. You know what I mean, don't you?
