hey guys. I ahve just been researcging on the graphics card i had chosen and realised it was prone t many a fault. I have upped my budget for the graphics cards and cam to the conclusion that the 2 sed cards the XFX 7900FT and the EVGA 7900GS were in my price range and from the reviews they both performed well.

From the general opinion i have noted that the XFX does seem to be better in all. what would you recommend?

Also. wat ampere would i be requiring on my 12v rail if anybody knows?

thanks

well if u want something cheap, thats good, go for the 7900gs and overclock it

u can get 600 core clock from stock 450

to me its a very good buy, and i have one myself ( evga 7900gs ko )

as for the power, any 450-500 watt will handle the 7900's

7900GS overclocks to GT preformance easily and further. Squeezed an additional 25fps average (CSS) out of mine :) If the GT is in a comparable price range, go for it. 24 shader pipes vs. the GS (20).

The GS and GT require 20a on 12v rail / prefered 400watt PSU
