I have a Belkin Wireless Modem Router model no. F5D7630-4AUK.
The DHCP works fine for hard wired connections but fails to allocate an IP address when connecting wirelessly.
I have tried turning off all security features. i.e Disabled Encryption, enabled SSID broadcast, no MAC address filtering etc.
I get the same problem with another make of wireless NIC card on another PC and have no issues with getting an IP address from other wireless DHCP servers on a laptop that fails with the Belkin.
I conclude that the problem is with the Belkin router and I've noticed other posts on this forum with similar problems.
a) how can I tell which revision of firmware I have on the Belkin Router currently?
b) Belkin show v1.08.03 (08Sep2004) as the latest one so I assume mine is at least at that level.
