Have you tried the 'compatibility' tab on the Properties page (right
click on the programme file)?

I was intending to do that with the win95 version on an XP computer, but
when I tried to install the game it wouldn't install. I just got a
message box to say that the programme is for win95 only, then the
install programme closed when I clicked on it.

Try making the Install file 95 compatible in the same way, works
sometimes.

i posted at the bottom, i just forgot to delete my sig from the top
the only thing i am guilty of is not having an email program that will post

so i gotta manually copy and paste to the bottom

You'd be better off disactivating the automatic signature insertion of
OE and when you are at the point where you want your signature (ie when
you have finished your reply) use the menu Insert. That way you won't
forget and though you still have a click or two to do, it isn't much
different from cut and paste.

You might care for the same reason as you'd care if you were playing your

I don't generally recommend one, no. I use mutt, because I like it.

That'd be the newsgroup I don't read or post to.

No. It's a random sig. Most of mine are taken from song-lyrics. But not

well i didnt really mean it in a rude way
just that someone started the cross post into my group
and i was responding to the question
so why would i care if it got cross posted back
especially since UK.misc. is where all the posters (except me) are from
or at. or in. whatever
i just asked a question relevant to C&C

oh, sure. i am computer illiterate, but i do know some things. i often cross
post into other C&C groups. and by leaving the newsgroups listed at the top
of my message alone, i cross post into the UK.misc. And i do that only so
you can read my message(s) since i assume you dont read

Why don't you just have a duel boot system, have XP as the main O/S and say
Windows ME or Windows 98 as a second bootable partition, you can use
Partition Magic to set this up, great for playing old games that XP won't
play,
