Have loaded Home Watcher v2 and it uploads fine but when I go to view it I
can't see any of the pictures, they won't load. The properties on each image
refer back to the files on the upload data but they won't visualize...Any
suggestions...Thanks, David

Are you getting the "X" broken image thing, or black spaces where the pics
should be, or what? I've not had that problem myself, so I can't exactly
picture what the problem is that you're describing. :) Also, are you
using one of the default templates, or have you dinked around with the code
a bit, to make it your own design? I love the proggy, so despite not really
knowing anything about the inner workings - I wanna help. :) The only
time it got wonky on me was when I was adding a lot of my own javascript
onto the cam page, and it must have borked something. heh

You can click on the link below to view my cam page... mebbe if you view
the source it'll help you notice something that you've been missing.

Good luck.

Tnx Robert

All I get are the black squares. THe properties of the black squares refers
back to my webpage address. When I open the main webpage from the file menu
in Watcher everything displays fine. I had to change the main page upload to
index as that is what my comcast requires to view the page. I think it is
something in there. Thanks for the response. It is a great program when it
runs as I can see on the "view main page" from the file menu. Now if I can
only get mine to work as well. It is uploading to my ftp server but I don't
see any snapshot files, there are only a couple of avi's and the black jpgs.
Shouldn't there be a bunch of snapshot jpg's?
Thanks Much, David

Sounds like it might be something in your upload settings. I've put a
screenshot of my settings here:
http://home.columbus.rr.com/rubbertoe/screenshot.jpg so you can compare with
what you've got in your settings. When I access my FTP server, I'm
automatically put in the root ( http://home.columbus.rr.com/rubbertoe ) so I
have the settings on HomeWatcher to upload to the secondary directory of
http://home.columbus.rr.com/rubbertoe/webcam - Make sure you have the
"snapshots" section checked... but since you are uploading to your FTP
server's root directory, I'm not sure if that should be just blank or what.
(where mine has a shaded "webcam" directory indicator)

Many THanks Robert, you have put me on the right track. Still have the
problem but now I have a clue where to go... Program works fine in local
mode but problem setting up files to upload it too on the server. Don't
fully understand this index.htm stuff but now I think I can figure it out,
Thanks again for sharing, David
