I was considering buying a laptop, and of course by that I mean leeching off my parents and requesting one for Christmas and saying I'll front half the cash.
My Q is whether or not it would be possible to upgrade the graphics card on the notebook in the future, I'm a PC gamer and it;s gotta keep up like my desktop does. To be honest I'll most likely end up waiting for the laptop until I can buy a brand new out of the box Vista loaded one with all the kinks worked out and bechies on what runs the best on DX 10.
Just like to know about upgrades on GFX cards in laptops, possible for a DIY'er, or not.
Words of wisdom. One would have to buy a laptop with a Mobility Radeon/GeForce Go card from a standardized design. These are only in gaming lappies that start over $2,000 as jaguarskx mentioned.
Remember, laptops have nearly NO upgrade capability aside from RAM (and maybe HDD and CPU).
