When I built the system it was fine running without EIST with constant 9x multiplier, however after a crash due to an bad overclock with uGuru EIST has been enabled permanently. I can turn it off in bios and also the C1E but in windows it remains x6 multiplier when idle.
I change the power options to "always on" or any other option and it still behaves as if EIST were enabled along with "minimal power management"
Does this make any sense ? Because although I dont mind running with EIST I am concerned that I cant seem to disable it at all.
