I have a Canon S30 digital camera coming in the mail (waiting is the hardest part, right?), so I've been trying to find a suitable printer to use with it (as well for normal text printing). I've been reading around and it seems like Canon makes some good printers as well, and the S820D and S900 look particulary appealing. At first, the price made me fearful (both are $400), but with the $100 rebate offer (http://consumer.usa.canon.com/specials/rules/100.html) for getting both a Canon camera & printer, I just can't refuse. Pricewatch also has both listed at about $340, so subtract $100 and that's a sweet $240 for a $400 printer.
So my dilemma is whether I should opt for the S820D or the S900. I'm not really sure which would be better. I will appreciate any advice.
