i have a pc w/ windows 7 know that clear is there anywhere i can download win7 and then activate it with the code that follows the computer?

Yes if you have a key on your laptop you can dl a copy then install it and insert the key.

You would have to have an account with microsoft to have a legal download link,then you could use your oem key!
