Hello all.

I bought my new LG DVD-ReWriter GSA H22L a few weeks ago and everytime I try and write stuff to a blank DVD RW Nero fails at random places. Like it might fail at 55% complete, or 3% complete, or 22% complete. Its only when im writing large amounts of files (GBs). If I write small amounts its ok.

I have to dispatch this computer tomorrow becuase its sold on eBay and I need to backup my files for when my new parts arrive on wednesday.

Does anyone know why it is doing this? Help much appreciated.

PS: I have a LitEON DVD-ROM drive on the same IDE channel.

hi.
1 use an other blank dvd rw(quality media)(if u use dvd- ,use dvd+).
2 reduce writing speed like 4x
3 u can try some other software to burn the dvd
have u burn other types of dvd's successful on that drive?
if yes u will find the solution from the above steps.
