Noob question: Need help trying to figure out the new cpu:)

Its been about 4 years since Ive rebuilt my PC. The CPU have changed so much that Im not sure what/how fast the new ones are.

Im used to old numbers AMD numbers: 2800+ @ 2.08.

Im looking at just buying a laptop for school but not sure how fast some of teh CPU are.

A few CPU im looking at:
Intel® Core™ Duo T2050 (1.60GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB)

or

AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-52(1.6GHz/1MB)


What would these be in old number s liek 2800+ etc
