Typical monitors have a plastic screen of very specific and distinctive quality. It doesn't reflect much, is rough and even, etc.

I want this material for an art project in which authenticity is important, and I don't want to rip apart monitors to get it.

Does anyone know the descriptive or trade name for this material, or where I can get it? :)

However, you should note that this is less to do with computing that other threads in this forum and consequently meets the stickied requirement.

Nowhere have I asked for assistance in resolving issues of algorithm efficiency, or been so stupid as to fumble a registry edit. This thread is as non-computing as you're going to get on a computing site.
