Well here's my problem. For about over 2 months now I have been unable to use my personal computer at home, here is my setup:
-Asus A8N-SLI Premium (Just bought this, replaced DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D)
-EVGA 7900gt
-OCZ 2GB Platinum DDR400
-AMD 64 3500+
-WD 80gb Raptor
What I have observed is under memory intensive applications or processes, artifacts suddenly appear on the screen. After this, the screen suddenly goes black. There is no way for me to recover from this issue besides restarting my computer. Once I do this and perform the same actions again, the same problem occurs. I thought it was my motherboard, so I replaced that with a Asus A8N-SLI Premium, but the problem is still occuring. I have narrowed it down to my memory or my video card. Has anyone run into a problem like this?
Help is greatly appreciated, I'm tired of not being able to run any applications and playing my games, thanks everyone.
