Hi im planning to buy a new pc and i'd like to hear your opinions.
I will use it for gamming but not all the time.

PC1

Intel core i7 860@2.66ghz
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4670 1gb
Liquid cooling system

or

PC2

Intel core i5 750@2.66ghz
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5850 1gb
*No liquid cooling system
*$200 dlls more than PC1

The other specs are the same.
I can afford both. I'd like you to tell me wich one would you recommend for the future.

I hope you can help me to select the right one. Thanks in advance.

I would buy PC1, I have a 4670, and it's still a good enough card.
You save $200 and have a liquid cooling system.
If you decide in a few months that you need a better card, then you have $200 to spend, and you get to keep the 4670.

It's hard to choose between the i7-860 and i5-750. The i5 gives a lot of performance. In stock form it provides good performance due to its turbo mode, but with a good cooler it can be overclocked well. I'm not sure you gain much by going to the i7.

If you want to overclock and you like liquid cooling, that's a good choice. A good air cooler will work but I wouldn't try much overclocking with the stock cooler.

If you are interested in gaming which you seem to be with those video cards, you will probably do well to spend more on the video card as opposed to the cpu.

You can ask these questions in the "homebuilt" forum and get more response there.
