xBackup & Backup

I am using a pda phone and it is using WM2003SE. On pda, there is xBackup
to backup the system to the storage card and in ActiveSync, there is backup
and restore. Are both xBackup and Backup identical? Do they back up the
files on main memory but not storage memory?

As all my data files are on the storage card, I believe only the contacts
and calendar records are on main memory. Can someone tell me where the
database files of contacts and calendar are located. I would like to make a
backup files in case I need to hard reset the pda.
