Their release will probably be on or very close to the day Vista comes out IMHO. I would do it that way to latch on the some "free" publicity and hype. They will probably have plenty cards to go around and a great price. Maybe they may even release their "PHYSICS" driver . Might even see some bundle deals with Vista or some physics enabled games that will be coming out also.
Let's not forget about the other side of the package the new CROSSFIRE chipset motherboards that are suppose to Overclock like a banshee. AMD needs the positive publicity right now.
Don't get me wrong I am a BIG ATI fan that loves my Core 2 Duo and am in a delimma of what to do about my A8N-SLI platform. I already bought a new x1600pro ($100.00 @ Best Buy)to use for physics with my X1900xtx. I am going to wait and see how the MB situation pans out before I leap and buy a DX10 card for my new game rig.
