Netgear hosting issues

So, reading the readme.doc in c&c:zero hour relating to how to setup a
netgear router doesn't do me any good. Has anyone out there been able
to host a direct connect game behind a firewall using a netgear
router? If so, what did you do? Were the others connecting to your
game behind firewalls as well?

I've tried opening the required ports up, checking the send delay
option, putting my machine out in the dmz and even creating a PPTP
connection to my network. I've also had a friend of mine put his
machine out in the dmz as well with no luck.

Pretty frustrating that the majority of the CC series games is this
difficult to play .... Maybe EA or Westwood should hire some good
networking guys ....

Ideas?
