Hi all,

I have been running into issues with ActiveSync on my Laptop. From
time to time, I have to uninstall and reinstall ActiveSync on my
Laptop. I have my desktop comouter set up as my main system that I
sync my data with Outlook, I also have been trying to set up a
partnership on my Laptop mainly for file transferring and using
ActivePrint, but unless I install ActivePrint on my Laptop and connect
as a guest partnership, ActiveSync will not connect via the Laptop. I
have had to uninstall from my Laptop numberous times and then
reinstall, skip setting up a partnership a connect as a guest in order
to get it to connect. Anyone know what is the deal with this?
Thanks in advance!!!
Regards,
Steve B.

Steve,
I'm a newbe to this group, but it has helped me greatly. I am having
no problems with active sync. Even though you can only create a full
partnership on two computers, I use my office comp, my home comp, and
a laptop. I set up a guest partnership on the laptop, but only to
back up my data on my pocket pc. I find the file transferring a real
pain, because you sometimes loose something in the swapping back and
forth of document file extensions. Get a usb thingy for that!.
Oh yea, the advice.... be sure you have the latest version of active
sync, and the same versions on all computers. Hope this helps some.
Regards,
Ron
